The Miichael Vick saga is finally over. Early Thursday night, Vick's representatives agreed in principle on a two year deal. Vick should see playing time in preseason and some expect his suspension should be reduced for the regular season.
I don't think the former top pick of the Falcons and former Virginia Tech superstar Quarterback could have asked for a better fit. The Eagles have one of our games best fan base and they won't settle for anything other then on-the-field p...

Newly acquired tight end Dan Campbell will miss the entire season due to an injury suffered in training camp.
The former Lions was expected to battle for backup duties along with several others. It is never a good feeling to see all these injuries piling up so early into camp.

Just days after being released from the Cleveland Browns, Shaun Smith found a new home in Detroit and a chance for a fresh start. The Lions needed to react fast after learning of Jared DeVries season ending injury and needed a replacement and some much needed depth on the d-line.
It is yet to be known where Smith stands in the rotation. Many project him as a backup DT knowing his size but he can also play both end positions and wouldn't be suprised if the Lions tried him out...

As first reported by ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, Plaxico Burress will appear in front of a grand jury Wednesday.
The Newark Star-Ledger's Mike Garafolo confirmed the news on his Twitter account Tuesday after receiving an email from Burress' lawyer.
Frankly, I'm not the legal expert around these parts, so I suggest checking out Florio's post from Monday night for the ramifications of Burress' appearance.

Roethlisberger is expected to release a statement in the coming days. This is definitely not good news for the defending Super Bowl Champs.
